Who we are: 
  • R & D of underwater systems and  technologies
  • Education in the domain of navigation, guidance and control of unmanned marine vessels (surface and underwater),
  • Cooperates (interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary) for the purpose of underwater systems and technologies,
  • Promotes high technology in sustainable development and exploitation of the sea, sub-sea, rivers, lakes, technical waters, water reservoirs as well as in maritime security.
  • Involves students, experts, researchers and scientists into  interdsciplinary domain of high technology sustainable development in underwater areas.

Main achievements:
  • (2011-2013) - Cooperative Autonomous Robotic Towing system (CART) FP7 Research for SMEs type project - partner;
  • (2009-2012) – Developing Croatian Underwater Robotics Research Potential (CURE) FP7 INTEREG SA type project - coordinator;
  • (2009 – 2012) - Autonomous Naval MCM Neutralization (NATO Undersea Research Centre (NURC) project) - partner;
  • (2009-2010) Bilateral research project between Italy and Croatia „Analysis of new potentialities in the synergic management of different underwater robotics devices“,
  • (2007 – 2011) - Systems and technologies in sub-sea, coastal zone protection and maritime security (Program by MZOŠ) - coordinator;
  • (2006-2010) RoboMarSec – Underwater robotics in sub-sea protection and maritime security”. (project by MZOŠ 036-0362975-2999) – coordinator.
International experience:
  • FER-LABUST has agreements of cooperation or Memorandum of understanding with NATO-NURC (Italy), and Aurora Trust Foundation (USA).
