Who we are: 

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies (FEEIT) - Skopje has three noble tasks: to educate engineers who will know how to resolve the challenges of their time, to give their contribution in the development of the global scientific knowledge, and at the same time to contribute to the industrial development of the country. One of the institutes at the faculty is the Institute of Automation and System Engineering and this institute is a leader in the control area in Republic of Macedonia. The members of the institute have worked on many science and applicative projects in the following areas:

  • Developing SCADA System for Hydro-System Zletovica
  • On-line Monitoring and Diagnostics of Errors in Industrial Systems,
  • Integrated Two Area Control Systems with Decentralized Control of Linked Objects,
  • Development of Control Kits for education in primary and vocational schools,
  • Optimization Methods in System Control,
  • Hybrid system modelling

Main achievements:
  • Design of a hybrid model and Hybrid Predictive controller for High consumption industrial furnace.
  • Design of an algorithm for mono video mapping of closed environments (papers are yet to be published).
