Mile Stankovski was born in Kumanovo, Macedonia on 26 January 1954. He received the B.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering in 1978, the M.Sc. degree in 1987 and he obtained the Ph.D degree in Technical sciences in 1997, all from the University "Sts. Cyril and Methodius" of Macedonia. After working in industry (Company for Steel pipes productions AD “11 Oktomvri” in Kumanovo, Macedonia, on the positions from engineer in maintenance department to the Main engineer for technical and technological activities in the company) from 1978-1997, he joined the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies as an assistant professor and later as full professor. During that time he was enrolled as a Head of IASE laboratory. Since 2008 he is acting as the Dean of FEEIT. His main fields of interest are Process control, Remote control systems, Programmable logic controllers, Computer controlled processes, Robotics and navigation and others. He has published more than 75 papers in international and regional conferences, as well as in journals and magazines.
